A woman with brown hair sits on a white armchair, writing in a notebook. She wears a white sweater, blue jeans, and brown shoes. Next to her is a small wooden table holding a stack of books, a white cup, and a vase with blue and white hydrangeas. There is a green plant on the floor beside the armchair, and a white brick wall in the background.

Supervision and Consultation

Supporting students and clinicians new to the field is an extremely rewarding part of my clinical practice. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and a Washington State Approved Supervisor and enjoy providing supervision and consultation for clinicians interested in learning evidence-based practices to diagnose and treat trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.

For my own continued development as a supervisor, I participate in multiple monthly consultation groups focusing on Perinatal Mental Health, Trauma, PTSD and Anxiety Disorders, and Eating Disorders.

As a member of my community, I have continued to invest in my learning and understanding of anti-racism and liberation practices for over twenty years.

Teaching

I'm a Part-time Lecturer for both undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Washington School of Social Work in Tacoma and Seattle. Infusing social work values into evidence-based practices is part of what makes clinical social workers distinct. As a student, I longed for more clinical focus in my graduate education and I began teaching in September 2021.
